Finding a gift that feels personal but doesn’t break the bank can be tricky. I’ve always believed a small, handmade piece can mean more than something expensive from a big store, because no one else will have one exactly like it.
Every piece in my shop is handmade, and no two are ever exactly the same, so whoever you’re shopping for is getting something truly theirs. To make it easier, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite gift ideas by price. Just remember these are one-of-a-kind pieces, so if you see one you love, don’t wait too long.
Why handmade jewelry makes a great gift
A handmade piece has a story. I find materials in all kinds of places, from beaches to antique stores to flea markets, and every design comes together a little differently. That makes it a gift that feels thoughtful instead of generic.
It’s also easy to make it personal. Pick a stone in their favorite color, a birthstone, or a metal that matches the jewelry they already wear every day.
Gifts under $30
These are perfect for birthdays, thank-you gifts, stocking stuffers, or a “just because” surprise.
Labradorite and Silver Earrings, $16. A faceted teardrop labradorite hangs inside a brushed silver oval. When the light hits the stone, it flashes with color against the matte silver. They hang about 2 3/4 inches.
Delicate Rose Gold and Turquoise Bracelet, $16. A thin rose gold colored chain with small robin’s-egg blue turquoise beads spaced along it. It’s a sweet, everyday piece that’s easy to layer.
Hexagon Moonstone Bracelet, $18. A fine silver chain with a hexagon-shaped moonstone in the center, flanked by four smaller round moonstones. Honestly, the pictures don’t show how vibrant this stone is. It flashes blues, greens and purples.
Copper Feather Necklace, $24. A soft copper chain with a petite feather pendant that has a patina-style finish, so you get warm copper with hints of turquoise color. It’s great for someone with a bohemian or nature-loving style.
Triple Pink Moonstone Necklace, $27. A shiny silver chain that forms a delicate V with three faceted pink moonstones. It’s soft and feminine and works with almost anything.
Gifts under $65
If you want something a little more special, like an anniversary, a milestone birthday, or a gift for yourself (I won’t tell), these are some of my favorites.
Turquoise and Copper Necklace, $44. Shiny copper, deep patina copper and multi-colored faceted turquoise beads with a substantial, organically twisted raw copper centerpiece. It’s rustic and earthy and really one of a kind. It’s 16 inches long.
Faceted Amethyst Necklace, $46. A slender gold chain with a cluster of five faceted, polished amethyst stones in a light purple. Amethyst is the February birthstone, so it’s a lovely choice for a February birthday.
Secret Compartment Indian Ruby Ring, $54. An oval faceted Indian ruby set in an intricate sterling silver band, and yes, it has a little secret compartment. This is the kind of piece someone keeps forever.
A tip for free shipping
Shipping in the US is free on orders of $65 or more (otherwise it’s a flat $12.10). If you’re close to that number, pairing a necklace with a small pair of earrings or a bracelet is an easy way to get there. For example, the Secret Compartment Indian Ruby Ring plus the Labradorite and Silver Earrings comes to $70, or the Faceted Amethyst Necklace plus the Triple Pink Moonstone Necklace comes to $73. You get two gifts, or one gift and a treat for yourself, and the shipping is on me.
Not sure about sizing or style?
Necklaces, earrings and bracelets are the easiest gifts because you don’t have to worry about ring sizes. If you do want to give a ring, check the size on the product page (some of my rings are adjustable), or take a look at my Size guide.
And if something isn’t quite right, I offer 30-day returns. I always want people to love what they get, so just reach out and we’ll figure it out.
